Chemical manufacturers, distributors, and importers are required to provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) meeting strict requirements for hazardous material used in the workplace. The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) was created by the United Nations as a framework for hazardous communication.  Portions of the GHS has been adopted by many countries, including the United States’ Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as a first step towards a unified hazard communication for employees.

As an emergency response company, we understand the need for an accurate Safety Data Sheet. Whether existing products or brand new, our SDS Authoring Specialists can turn your product data into OSHA and international GHS Compliant SDS.

Our specialists are people with years of regulatory experience with access to the LOLI (List of Lists) Database. LOLI contains over 4400 regulatory lists from around the world, including environmental, health and safety, international inventories, and reference material necessary for SDS preparation.

Your author will use your current MSDS and formulations or the Safety Data Sheet of the manufacturer to classify your products under the new hazard standards including signal words, hazard statements, pictograms and precautionary statements.

If you already have SDS, our auditing service can review them so you can be confident of their compliance.

Letters of Interpretation and new test data can affect the data on your SDS. SDS’s authored by Infotrac can be reviewed every few years for a discounted rate.
